Jardines de Casares 2006

This site is designed for the owners of the Jardines de Casares development, its tenants and guests and for prospective buyers.  It provides information about the running of the Community as well as relevant and useful information about the area.

New information will be posted from time and owners are welcome to submit suggestions to the editor for inclusion on the site where appropriate.  Information for owners eyes only will be password protected.

The site will evolve with time and usage to become the main source of information and knowledge exchange.

Currently the site has 6 sections Home, Board of Owners, Reports, Community Rules, Local Information, Contacts.  These will be amended and others will be added  as required.

Jardines de Casares is is just 300 metres from Bahia de Casares (Casares Bay) a beautiful, sandy and unspoilt stretch of coast on the Costa del Sol. It is close to the small towns of Sabinillas and Manilva, and only 10 minutes from Estepona town and Casares village. Airports are easily accessible with Gibraltar a mere 20 minutes drive in one direction, Malaga an hour in the other and Jerez two hours to the north-west.

Jardines de Casares has 36 apartments in 9 blocks and 55 town houses.  The development has a total of 18,000 m2 of landscaped gardens and two communal swimming pools, providing a private, relaxed environment to enjoy the Spanish climate. It is surrounded by spectacular Spanish landscape, with views of sea, mountains, the adjacent parkland and the nearby 18 hole golf course of Doña Julia.

Sabinillas, less than 5 minutes by car, is the local town. In addition to banks, post-office and chemists, it has an attractive beach-side promenade, lots of cafes, bars, restaurants, small shops and three large supermarkets. Adjacent to Sabinillas is the lively port - Puerto de la Duquesa. It offers international cuisine in its many restaurants overlooking the marina, and has plenty of night-time entertainment.

Think of the Costa del Sol and you think of Marbella - only 30 minutes away. The city has fine architecture with many interesting buildings and parks, superb shopping centres, and great night life and beaches. Possibly its most famous attraction is Puerto Banus, Southern Europe’s premier boating and leisure centre, where you can rub shoulders with the rich and famous.  Estepona is 10 minutes away and Selwo Safari Park, just the other side of Estepona from Jardines, is well worth a visit.
